The World

In Book of Yahuchanan 17:6-18 the Messiah prayed to His heavenly Father and said this words,
"I have revealed Your Name to ha-adams (*menwhom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word. Now they have come to know that all You gave to Me, is from You. Because the Words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they have received them, and have truly known that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. I pray for them; I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I have been esteemed in them. And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Qodesh Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are. When I was with them in the world, I was guarding them in Your Name which You have given Me, and I watched over them, and not one of them perished except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be completed. And now I come to You. And I speak these words in the world, so that they have My joy completed in them. I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the wicked one. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world."

In Yahuchanan 7:7 the Messiah also said,
"The world cannot hate you, but it hated Me, because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil."

Furthermore, in the Book of 1 Yahuchanan 2:15-17 it is written,
"Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Because all that is in the world is – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – that are not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but the one doing the desire of El remains forever."

What is the World?

Now, the question is, what is the meaning for the term "the world" that Yahushua Messiah mentioned in His prayer, saying, "You are not of the world, as I am not of the world," also "I do not pray for the world?" Furthermore, He said that the world hated Him and His followers. "You shall be hated by all people for My Name's sake."

Spiritually, the term "the World" has two distinctive meanings, one is: the system: (ways/ custom/ mind-set) of this present age and its predominance.
Luke 4:6/ Rev 13:7-8 said that the system of the world and its predominance were given to Satan to govern. Therefore, if anyone is institutionalized to be part of the system of this world, then he is of the world. Yahushua the Messiah made it clear that although He is in the world, however He and His followers are not part of the world.
The second meaning of "the World" is: the people: living within the system of the world, contrary to living under the authority of the Word of El. Yahushua the Messiah said to His followers in Yahuchanan 8:31, "If you continued in My Word, then you are My students indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." And in Yahuchanan 7:16-17 He also emphasized, saying, "My teachings is not Mine, but His who sent Me."

The World Explained

(Two Races of People)

From the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, YAHUWEH Almighty divided people of the earth into two races, namely:
the righteous race: also called the elects Matt 24:22/Yh 6:70 or Yahudim Rev 2:9/Yesha 43:7 and
the unrighteous race: also called the world Yh 17:9-16, or the unbelievers or perverse generation Matt 17:17

"The world or the unrighteous race presents the disobedient people of this present age. However, the elects or the righteous race are not part of this world, for they are redeemed from the world Yahuchanan 17:14. They are children of obedience, and they represent the people of the New Earth to come.

Characteristics of the World

The Scripture testified the deeds of the world, and what is in the world and said, "Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Because all that is in the world is – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – that are not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but the one doing the desire of El remains forever."

1. The Lust of the Flesh: sexual desires of looks (sexy).
2. The Lust of the Eyes: see it, desire it, and acquire it (covetousness/ ungrateful/ always needing for more fun, more money, but never satisfied).
3. The Pride of Life: the world put their trust and happiness in their academic achievements, position, and material possession, but not on El Almighty, who created the heavens and the universe, and all necessities of life that makes the earth inhabitable for people.

                                                        Traditions of the World

What is Tradition?
. It is a long-established customs or beliefs that have been passed down from one generation to another generation.
. It is also, an inherited, established, or customary pattern of thoughts, action, or behaviors (as a religious practice or a social custom, e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthday).

Spiritually, the tradition of men is one of the main enemies to the truth, or a major hindrance of accepting the truth. This is what Yahushua the Messiah said regarding the tradition of people:
Mark 7:6-9 "And He {Yahushua} answering, said to them, "Well did YeshaYahu prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it has been written, "This people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. In vain they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of people (men). Forsaking the command of El, you hold fast the tradition of people. And He said to them, "Well do you set aside the command of El, in order to guard your tradition."

For the sake of their tradition, Yisra'El refused to accept the Name of Yahushua- who came in the Name of YAHUWEH. For they had prohibited the use of the Name of YAHUWEH, or any name which displays the Name "Yah" in the 2nd century BCE.

Yahuchanan 5:38-47
Yahushua said to them, "And you do not have His Word dwelling in you, because you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures, because you think you possess eternal life in them. And these are the ones that bear witness of Me. But you do not desire to come to Me in order to possess life. I do not receive honor from people, but I know you, that you do not have the love of El in you. I have come in My Father's Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive."

Prophet YeremeYahu testified against the tradition of people and said, YeremeYahu 10:8-10: "They are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock of doctrine of vanities."
